I enjoy having an open, collaborative partnership with my students.  Please talk to me if you have any issues or concerns.

Tuition

Tuition is to be paid in advance, rates are as follows: $45 for 30 minute lesson, $90 for 60 minute lesson.

Please note that I have a 24-hour cancellation policy; you can reschedule your lesson time using the scheduler any time up until then. Within 24 hours, extenuating circumstances may be considered.

Online lessons: we can use any standard video conference/video chat application. Please ensure that you have a good internet connection, and a space that is free of external noises. 

My responsibilities 

I will help you grow as a whole-minded musician by learning musicality, proper tone and technique, and becoming a well rounded musician who not only knows the flute, but also knows the theory, history and context behind what we work on.  I always treat every musician that I work with (that's you!) with integrity and respect.  I look forward to working with you to make beautiful music! 

Your responsibilities

Be ready for lessons on time.  I am flexible with expectations for students. The most important thing is that you are committing to practicing the flute EVERY DAY.

Books

There will be method books and music that will be assigned to you to purchase for your lessons.  These are in addition to your tuition fees. They are yours to keep! Please let me know if you have any questions.
